Takedown and storage

Christmas light takedown and storage

When the holidays are over, Green's comes back. The team removes the display, packs the lighting and stores it at Green's own facility, so nobody spends January on a ladder or finds room for boxes of lights. Takedown and storage are part of a seasonal install rather than an add-on.

The whole display comes down and goes into storage at Green's own facility, not into your garage.

  1. After the holidays

    01

The display comes down without becoming your weekend

Taking a display down is the half of the job people underestimate. Every run has to come off the roofline, the trees and the beds, and then it has to go somewhere.

Green's removes the whole display it installed. Nothing is left on the house over the winter and no ladder work falls to you.

  2. Takedown schedule

    02

When does Green's take Christmas lights down?

Takedown begins January 1, and Green's makes every effort to have all lights removed by January 21. The safety of the crew comes first, so weather can move a date.

The install date and the removal date are covered together at the walkthrough, so both are known before the display goes up.

  3. Seasonal light storage

    03

No boxes taking over your garage

Everything is removed during January and stored at Green's own facility. You do not need to clear space in a garage or an attic, and you are not looking after boxes of lights for eleven months.

  4. Ready for next Christmas

    04

One season leads into the next

The lighting from a Green's install is already in storage when the next season comes around. If you want the display changed, that is a conversation to have before the install.

  5. Full-service Christmas lighting

    05

Installation is only half the job

Takedown and storage are part of a Green's seasonal install, along with the design, the installation and the service through the season. It is one job with a start date and an end date rather than a set of separate purchases.

At Green's own facility. Everything is removed during January and stored there, so you do not need to clear space in a garage or an attic.

Yes. On a seasonal install, takedown and storage are part of the job rather than a separate charge.

The date moves. The safety of the crew comes first, so Green's works to have all lights removed by January 21 rather than promising a fixed day.
